April 25th – May 16th
To improve overall cardiovascular health, the American Heart Association suggests at least 150 minutes per week of moderate exercise. The simplest, positive change you can make to effectively improve your heart health is to start walking. It’s enjoyable, free, easy, social and great exercise! Therefore, we are challenging YOU to get out and walk for 150 minutes each week and enter in our weekly walk challenge.
It’s easy to enter:
1. Get out and walk! Whether it’s individually, with friends, walking your dog, or as part of one of our weekly walk series – walk 150 minutes each week.
2. Each week during the contest, take a photo of yourself, the scenery, or anything else fun from your walks and post the photo to Instagram with the hashtag #watertownmoves and tag @livewellwatertown
Email email@example.com your photo or a description of your progress from the week.
3. Every Friday during the challenge, a winner will randomly be chosen from those who have participated. Participants can enter once each week.
